Objectives: To work with the SSGs at these two IBAs/KBAs and build on their enthusiasm and drive to protect their own forests. The short-term impacts of this project include the development of two community-based, community-monitored and community-managed Pas where the local people organised in two strong Site Support Groups, will benefit from sustainable agriculture and income-generating activities that are compatible with forest conservation.
