Commonwealth Climate Finance Access Hub (CCFAH) with the support of the Government of Fiji’s Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, is conducting a Climate Finance Write-shop training from the 5th to the 7th of March, 2024, at Novotel in Suva, Fiji. This initiative is further strengthened by partnerships with the Pacific Community (SPC), Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD), GIS project implemented by the United Nations Satellite Centre (UNOSAT), and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). The primary objective of this training is to enhance climate finance expertise in the Pacific region.
The participation of key stakeholders from the Governments of Fiji, Tuvalu, Nauru, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Palau, and the Federated States of Micronesia underscores the collaborative and inclusive nature of the Climate Finance Write-shop. These nations, situated in the Pacific region, are actively contributing to and benefiting from this specialized training.
The involvement of these government representatives reflect a collective commitment to enhance climate finance capabilities within their respective nations.
