The Climate Public Expenditure and Institutional Review (CPEIR) can be used to examine how public and private climate change and disaster risk management expenditures are integrated into national budgetary processes. The CPEIR is an analytic tool that supports Fiji to identify and mobilize financial resources, improve budget systems, manage and scale–up climate finance and allow for monitoring and evaluation. The CPEIR can be used to help improve how the government and stakeholders spend resources to achieve Fiji’s climate and disaster risk management goals.
