This report provides a summary briefing of the first ever information session on the 27th Conference of the Parties (COP 27) hosted with the Open Sector Working Group (SWG). It introduces Fiji’s inter-ministerial work coordinated by the Climate Change and International Cooperation Division (CCICD). It includes the Green Climate Fund (GCF) readiness, the National Designated Authority (NDA), and the Sector Working Groups (SWGs). It also shows key outcomes of the Conference of Parties (COP) 26 in Glasgow, United Kingdom, and introduces the upcoming COP 27 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. The report also includes questions from session participants and answers.

The event was hosted by the Climate Change and International Cooperation (CCICD) of the Ministry of Economy on 12 October 2022 at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva.
