The Fiji Forest Landscape Restoration for Climate Benefits and Resilience (Fiji FLR) project focuses on restoring degraded forest landscapes across Viti Levu and Vanua Levu to strengthen climate resilience, enhance ecosystem services, and improve livelihoods of forest-dependent communities.
The ESMF is a safeguard document that outlines the project’s environmental and social risk management measures, stakeholder engagement arrangements, grievance redress mechanisms, and safeguard requirements for project implementation. The document also serves to support transparency, informed stakeholder engagement, and compliance with GCF Environmental and Social Safeguards requirements.
